Vlad is a masked celebrity contestant on the fifth brazilian season of The Masked Singer.

Personality

"Natasha, a rock singer, has sold her soul to the terrible Count Vladymir Polanski, head of the vampires, to shine in her career."
Being the main antagonist of Vamp, Vlad is a centuries-old vampire and the leader of a vampire clan. His ultimate goal is to achieve absolute power and control, spreading his influence and chaos. Once he discovers Natasha was his true love in a previous life, he becomes obsessed with her, although his plans are constantly thwarted by Natasha and her allies, including Jonas, a vampire hunter determined to stop Vlad's reign. Vlad is both sinister and humorous, embodying the campy, gothic style that defines the show.

Appearance

Vlad, being a centuries-old vampire, is an old man with grey hair and an unibrow, alongside green eyes that glow in the dark. He is wearing the usual vampire set of clothing, with a black vest, jacket and pants. He has a red bow with a green jewel in the format of a heart, alongside the usual vampire cape.

Trivia

• Eduardo dressed up as Vlad during the sixth episode of the third season, the telenovela special.
• The second episode of the season was dedicated to Ney Latorraca, the celebrity behind Vlad in the telenovela, who passed away on December 26, 2024, after the season was finished filming.
• Carmo Dalla Vecchia confirmed during his interview that one of the songs he recorded was "Macho Man" by Village People, he was planning to perform it during the second round but the producers didn't let him as the masks were in a round where everyone had to sing songs from their respective telenovelas.
