The Masked Singer NZ is a New Zealand reality singing competition television series. The series premiered on Three on May 9, 2021. The show features costumed celebrities competing against each other. They sing each week, trying to make it to the finale in which the singer with the most votes in the finale, will be crowned the winner. After the performances in each episode after the first two, the studio audience votes for their favorite performer and the two singers with the lowest amount of votes are put into the bottom 2 at risk of being eliminated, in which the panelists determine who will stay in the competition and who will be eliminated and unmasked, revealing their identity.
The show is hosted by Clinton Randell, with panelists Rhys Darby, Sharyn Casey, Ladi6 and James Roque. In season 2, Ladi6 was omitted from the panel and Rhys was replaced by Anika Moa.
