Season 8 of the American version of The Masked Singer premiered on September 21, 2022, and concluded on November 30, 2022.

Production[]

On May 16, 2022, it was announced that Fox had renewed the series for an eighth season, prior to the airing of the seventh season's finale on May 18. On June 6, 2022, it was announced that the season would premiere on September 21.

This season introduced themed nights. The themed nights in the season included "Vegas Night", "Comedy Roast Night", "Hall of Fame Night", "Muppets Night", "Andrew Lloyd Webber Night", "TV Theme Night", "90s Night", and "Fright Night".[1]

On September 7, 2022, it was announced that Donny Osmond, Andrew Lloyd Webber, The Muppets, Will Arnett, Leslie Jordan, Joel McHale, Tori Spelling, Jon Lovitz, Jodie Sweetin, Carrot Top, Blue Man Group, Lance Bass, Danielle Fishel, Sheila E., and Drew Carey would make guest appearances throughout the season.[1]
