Season 2 of the Panamanian version of La Máscara was announced in 2022, it premiered on August 16, 2023 and concluded on October 18, 2023.
Production[]
Production started not much long after the first season concluded, with a questionnaire for possible companies to advertise their product on the show being released to the public in the middle of the semifinals. The season was officially announced in July 9, 2023 with official teasers on TVN's instagram account, with the original set of panelists and host staying the same, alongside the name teaser for three of the new masks.

Trivia[]
- This is the first rendition of The Masked Singer Franchise to change names inbetween seasons, as according to the logo change and the teasers shown with the set of panelists speaking, the name of the series is now shortened to "La Máscara" instead of the previous "¿Quién es la Máscara?".
- During the first and second episodes, the panelist K4G wasn't able to participate. To replace him, the producers put a K4G doll instead of him in his place.
- The costume of Piggy Pop was making special appearances since the second episode and also in the show's official social medias, until she officially entered the competition on the fifth episode after a public voting.
- A similar thing occured with Astronauta, although he just entered the competition without the public voting.
