Season 1 of the Uruguayan version of ¿Quién es la Máscara? premiered on May 5, 2022 and concluded on August 18, 2022.
Production[]
On November 2021, Teledoce started the discussion of getting the rights of the show, getting to buy the format on January 3, 2022 and announcing the confirmation of it's first season. The panel consisted of Fabián Delgado, Sofía Rodríguez, Patricia Wolf & Emir Abdul Gani, with the host being Maximiliano de la Cruz. In the first season, Camila Rajchman was the behind-the-scenes host. The tapings of it's first season started at the end of April, a few days before the premiere of it's first episode on May 5, 2022.
Golden Binoculars[]
Through the season, the panelists were competing in their own contest for the "Golden Binoculars", the Uruguayan version of the "Golden Ear Trophy". The panelist with the most correct guesses throughout the season would receive the Golden Binoculars. At the end of the season, it was revealed that the winner of the Golden Binoculars was Sofía Rodríguez.[1]
