Season 1 of the American version of The Masked Singer premiered on January 2, 2019, and concluded on February 27, 2019.
Production[]
Filming for the season took place on June 4, 6, 11, 14, 18, 21, and 24, 2018.[1]
The series was officially revealed on August 2, 2018, also announcing that it would be hosted by Nick Cannon with Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke serving as panelists. The series was also given a targeted premiere of January 2019.[2][3]
On October 24, 2018, it was announced that the series would premiere on January 2, 2019.[4][5] Excluding the season finale date, which contained back-to-back episodes of The Masked Singer, the show was preceded by season two of Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back.[6]
