Season 10 of the American version of The Masked Singer premiered on September 27, 2023, and concluded on December 20, 2023.

History[]
On May 15, 2023, it was announced that The Masked Singer was renewed for a tenth season.[1][2] At the end of the season nine finale two days later on May 17, a short teaser for the tenth season was shown, revealing the first logo of the upcoming season.[3]
On July 11, 2023, it was announced that the season would premiere on September 27, 2023.[4][5] In addition, a new promo for the season was released, displaying the words "The Masked Singer" with letters made up of new and existing masks. It was also confirmed that themed nights would return, which were previously featured in seasons eight and nine.[6] The themed nights in the season included "Trolls Night", "Harry Potter Night", a night celebrating Elton John music, "NFL Night", "One Hit Wonders", "Disco", "2000s Night", "I Wanna Rock", and "Soundtrack of My Life".[7][8] Wildcards and the 'Ding Dong Keep it On Bell' twist, introduced in seasons five and nine respectively, also returned in this season.[7][8]
On August 2, 2023, the first two costumes were officially revealed, along with a new teaser showing other new masks for the season. The teaser also revealed that the season would include 'The Rumble'.[9]
Kickoff special[]
On August 14, 2023, a special preview episode was announced, which aired on September 10, following an NFL Double Header. The special, celebrating the show's milestone tenth season, included duo performances featuring previous contestants of the show; the duos consisted of Michelle Williams & Rumer Willis, Joey Fatone & Bow Wow, and Victor Oladipo & Barry Zito (along with panelist Nicole Scherzinger).[7][8]
The special also included a non-competing celebrity, Anonymouse, who performed and was unmasked at the end of the special.[10][11]
Filming[]
Filming for the season took place July 17 to August 9, 2023.[12][13]
Programming[]
Original airings of episodes in the season were followed by the new series Snake Oil.[4][5]

It was revealed on September 15th, 2023 that the season 10 contestants boast a combined 40 Medals, 33 Grammy Nominations, 7 Hall of Fame Awards, 3 Lifetime Achievement Awards and over 50 tattoos.[14]
