- The design of the "Son" mask seems to be based on Daigoro Ittou from the manga Lone Wolf and Cub by Kazuo Koike, being a baby in a similar-looking cart as Daigoro's.
- Tom is the fourth winner to compete again in the international franchise, after Leijona from Finland, Harp from the US and Mirrorball from Australia.
