Mustang is an entirely black racehorse with a fire motif to her legs. The costume wears entirely leather racecar driver clothes alongside having a harness on the chest with a flaming heart. Her mane is entirely fire as well, paired with red eyes.

- Mustang is the first female contestant to open the odd numbered season.
- Mustang is the first season opener in the US version to be eliminated in the same episode.
- Mustang is the fifth country singer to be on this show.
- Mustang and Crab share the same birthday.
- Mustang is the lowest placing season opener on the American version of the show, placing 20th, and also the lowest placing season opener overall. First was Dragon3 in the first Japanese season and second was Pulpo (MX) in the fourth Mexican season.
- Despite debuting in "Season 9 Premiere", Evans has revealed that she was originally going to debut in "ABBA Night".[3][4]
