Trivia[]

  • Khánh Linh is one of the "nightingale" of the Vietnamese music. Coming from a family with a tradition in music, Khánh Linh became a childhood memory of the 1980s and 1990s generations by her pure folk tone songs as well as a clear voice like a crystal. Appearing in this show, Khánh Linh made everyone extremely surprised when 90% of the audience did not recognize her, most of them thought that Madame Vịt was the singer Dương Hoàng Yến impersonating singer Hòa Minzy's voice. Therefore, they were extremely excited to know that Khánh Linh was the real person behind the mask. The younger generation was quickly attracted and wanted to hear her singing more.
    • Before Madame Vịt opened her mask, those who believed she was Khánh Linh also humorously debated that "If Madame Vịt were Dương Hoàng Yến, the battle song with Chuột Cherry would be a "flaming fist fight" like a duet of Lady Mây and Nàng Mây of Season 1, rather than harmonious like this". It shows that they understand Khánh Linh's characteristic is light, soaring music.
    • Coincidentally, Dương Hoàng Yến then appeared in the next round as Nàng Tiên Hoa.
  • Her battle song, "Buông", was originally sung by Vũ Thảo My - who is Cáo Tiểu Thư from Season 2.
  • Her unmask song was "Anh Cứ Đi Đi" by Vương Anh Tú (originally sung by Hari Won - Trấn Thành's wife). Unlike most of the unmask songs which are all originally sung by the celebrities themselves, Khánh Linh sang this song as she explained that she would sing it if she made it to the next round.
    • And Vương Anh Tú, the composer of "Anh Cứ Đi Đi", is also Buffalove from Season 1.
  • Madame Vịt's first song, "Thị Mầu", originally sung by Hòa Minzy, is a song about a character of the same name in the narrative poem/folk story "Quan Âm Thị Kính" (The Tale of Lady Thị Kính) - a popular work of Vietnamese literature from the 17th-18th centuries that tells a story about the life of Thị Kính as known as Guanyin - The East Asian representation of Avalokiteśvara.
  • Khánh Linh's voice type is Light Lyric Soprano.
  • Khánh Linh is also the original singer of "Giấc Mơ Trưa" (by Giáng Son & Nguyễn Vĩnh Tiến), the song had made Thùy Chi, who is Tí Nâu from Season 1 became famous after covering it.
  • Khánh Linh, Thùy Chi, Lương Bích Hữu as Kim Sa Ngư, and Khởi My as Cừu Bông are all known as the masters of "baby voice" (a style of singing) because their singing voice always be sweeter and clearer than a young girl.
  • Khánh Linh shares the same name with Phùng Khánh Linh - a female singer of the younger generation. In the show Giao Lộ Thời Gian (Intersection of Time), their duet performances have made the audience captivated and replayed non-stop.
  • Trấn Thành previously guessed Khánh Linh to be O Sen and Tí Nâu in Season 1 in some of the episode.
