- Lizard is actually a reused version of Dinosaure from the third Canadian season, making him one of the five reused costumes in the season, alongside the male Inséparable (Lovebird), Lion (Sir Lion), Lady Lévrier (Afghan Hound), and Blanchon (Seal).
- Lizard is currently also one of the six costumes reused from the Canadian series in general, the first being Tiki, who was previously used as Cocktail Tiki.
- Dragon made a cameo appearance in Lizard's third clue package.
- Lemur made a cameo appearance during Lizard's performance (Christie Brinkley portrayed the titular "Uptown Girl" in the original music video from 1983).
- The song "Uptown Girl" by Billy Joel was previously sung by Medusa and California Roll as a Battle Royale in season 9.
