Koala is dressed up like a musketeer, with velvet clothes, a purple sash around his waist, a belt over his shoulder, gloves lined on the brim with faux fur, an exquisite cape and leather boots. Atop his head, he wears a fine hat decorated with a feather.

- Koala is the second wildcard for this season (11) to be immediately eliminated in its first episode (The first being Billy Bush as Sir Lion).
- Koala is the first wildcard to perform outside of the Masked Singer studio.
- DeMarcus competed on season 27 of Dancing with the Stars alongside John Schneider (Donut). Coincidentally, both were eliminated in a double elimination.
- Koala is the only wildcard contestant of the season who didn't compete in the Smackdown.
- Both Koala and Book are the only contestants to perform once in Season 11.
- According to his concept art, Koala was originally named "Cavalier Koala."
