Jonathan Stephen Ross is a panelist on the British version of The Masked Singer.
Biography[]
Jonathan Ross started his career as an actor playing a Soldier in a 1981 episode of the sitcom It Ain’t Half Hot Mum, after which he became a broadcaster and for several years appeared as himself in films & TV, though there are some exceptions such as a 1993 episode of French and Saunders where he played Johnny Carson, the British Dub of Shrek 2 where he voiced Doris the Ugly Stepsister, Valiant where he voiced a Big Thug, Rex the Runt where he voiced both an awards announcer and Rex the Handsome and Legends & Lies where he played James Pettigrew.
Jonathan started his career as a broadcaster in 1987 as the presenter of The Last Resort which would finish in 1988. Between 1988 & 1989, Jonathan presented The Incredibly Strange Film Show. Between 1989 & 1990, Jonathan hosted One Hour with Jonathan Ross.
Between 1990 & 1992, Jonathan hosted Tonight With Jonathan Ross. Between 1990 & 1991, Jonathan hosted Jonathan Ross Presents for One Week Only. In 1992, Jonathan co-presented Americana. In 1993, Jonathan presented Saturday Zoo. In 1994, Jonathan hosted Gagtag. In 1995, Jonathan hosted Mondo Rosso, In Search of James Bond with Jonathan Ross & In Search of Dracula with Jonathan Ross.
Between 1996 & 1997, Jonathan hosted The Big Big Talent Show. In 1996, Jonathan hosted Late Night Jonathan Ross. In 1997, Jonathan hosted In Search of Hamlet. Between 1999 & 2002, Jonathan hosted It's Only TV...but I Like It.

In 2023, Jonathan hosted both Jonathan Ross: Must-Watch Films & Myths and Legends with Jonathan Ross. Since 2024, Jonathan has hosted ITV’s Oscars Live.
Jonathan is perhaps better known for having sporadically hosted The British Comedy Awards & Comic Relief. Jonathan is perhaps best known for hosting Film…, The Hollywood Greats, Japanorama, the first two seasons of Penn & Teller: Fool Us and most notably both The Jonathan Ross Show and its precursor Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.
