- The mask was first teased in a clip on August 24, 2022[1] before officially being revealed on September 18, 2022.[2]
- Hummingbird is the third contestant who sang a song that was already on the show. He sang "I Don't Wanna Be" By Gavin DeGraw, which was previously sung by Monster.
- Coincidentally, Hummingbird sang the parts of the song that Monster didn't sing.
- Hummingbird's walk in song was previoulsy performed by Mallard in Season 6.
- He is the second NSYNC member to compete on the show, with the first being Joey Fatone, who was Rabbit.
- Hummingbird is the fifth person in general to sing a song that was sung on the series before, if one counts Craig Robinson singing "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor in the Season 4 semi-finals, which was sung by Pineapple in Season 1, Rita Wilson singing "Hip Hop Hooray" by Naughty by Nature in the Season 5 final eight, which was sung by Frog in Season 3, Robopine singing "All of Me" by John Legend, which was sung by Peacock in Season 1, and Banana Split singing “Don’t You worry ‘bout a thing” by Stevie Wonder, which was sung by Lion in Season 1.
