Clues[]

Week Clue
1 “Hola! Welcome to my world, darlings! You like my aesthetic? I’ve gone for Crab, Dressed Crab! It’s a look that never goes out of fashion! Good style can make anybody feel like a somebody. Just marvel at some of my creations, my work has lit up the UK! But I’m not just about the material things in life. I’ve scuttled all over the blue planet and now I’m here on the Masked Singer stage, ready to crab hold of the competition with both pincers! I hope I take to this like a crab in water, saltwater, freshwater, I can style it up in either. Most crabs only move sideways, but I show ‘em I can also move back. I hope you find my performance shrimply irresistible tonight.”
3 ”This Dressed Crab is the style of the season and like all great trends, I’ll just keep coming back! The panel have designs on who I could be, I think they’re trying to stitch me up. The Masked Singer stage plus moi? You do the math, it was always going to be runaway worthy. There are no flies on this Dressed Crab, my competitors should be afraid, because I have serious designs on that Masked Singer crown! In the Dressed Crab business, perseverance and absolutely crabulous delivery. I’ve also been seen in fields and on boards. Why am I smiling, you’d have to be Da Vinci to crack this code! It would be good to make it past the halfway point, so I hope you enjoy your front row seats tonight.”
4 “Last week, I proved I’m no “Slob-ster” and I’m not ready to go home again anytime soon. If you see an article about the most fashionable crustacean, it’s probably me, Dressed Crab. I mean, look at me, darling. I don’t wanna sound corny but I’ve shown it’s no contest when it comes to style. Coco “Chenille“, Stella “McCodney“, Calvin Brown, Dressed Crab, we’ve all made an outstanding contribution to the industry. I wouldn’t describe my couture as predictable, but my success was pre-ordained, sometimes you’ve got to work with a little faith. I don’t want to “Lord“ it over the panel, but this Dressed Crab has technically been unmasked before and I’m bursting at the seams to reveal my true identity. You’ve seen me strut my stuff on that stage twice before, but the third time’s a charm, let’s hope this Dressed Crab sticks around a little longer.“
5 “Longo, long time no see, I’m so glad I wasn’t shown the door last week! The other competitors are nipping at my Hem, but when the going gets tough, this Crab sure gets going. I’m so jubilant to have made it through another week, I love being a part of The Masked Singer and would hate to leave now. I can’t farm out my performance, I have to show I’m worthy of my place in this competition. Time to rise to the occasion, some of the panels guesses have been a little bit left field but I’m not Crabby about it, it’s all water under the bridge. Sometimes my designs in life haven’t worked out as planned, but I looked over my shoulder, threw off my old Shell and found one that fit me like it was custom made. Most crabs are solitary but I come from a close-knit groups of Crustaceans who helped me come out of my Shell. I’m not on Squid Road just yet, time to get information as it would be a real kicker to go out now. Impeccable style is good for the soul and I hope you Say Yes to this Dress tonight!“
6 “Hola, mis amigos! This Dressed Crab is shellshocked to have made it here. The panels comments were a cut above, and it’s a real pinch me moment to find myself in the Semi-Final. I must compose myself before the panel’s questions. Houston, I hope we don’t have a problem, this is not the time to “flounder“! I can see a ray of light at the end of that tunnel. Think you’ve guessed the shell-ebrity in this shell? I’m telling you, I’m not going without a fight! I wouldn’t say it’s been smooth sailing, getting to this point, but the audience thinks I’m “krilling“ it, so who am I to argue? I’m a dish for all sea-sons, whether it’s the summer time or the month of little St. Nick. The public’s taste can yo-yo, but my designs are ageless. Dressed Crab coutour suits every taste - Scousers, Brummies, Londoners, you name it. I’ve collaborated with mussels, clams and even a festive winkle. I might be a Crab, but I’m not about to hide! Park your presumptions at the door, will my performance be “Shrimply“ the best or will I be the ultimate fashion victim and fall at the final hurdle? Por Favor, you’ll have to wait and see!“
7 “Buenos Noches, fashion lovers. It seems Dressed Crab has been a runaway success, to get this far is no drop in the ocean, and the panel’s comments last week were “claws“ for celebration. ‘Shell yeah!’ I’m ready for the Final. Going home before the last song is so last season, just one more night, and we’ll know who won this pageant. This is right up my alley, and I want that Masked Singer crown to come home with me! You might expect this Dressed Crab to be carrying a lot of baggage, it ain’t nothin’ but some clues. You don’t have to be a brain “sturgeon“ to work out who I am, but the panel’s guesses have had me in stitches. They are a “Broadway“ off cracking this shell. I hope you’re ready for a spirited performance tonight, I’m not about to run out of steam before that Final whistle. It’s time to sing, Dressed Crab, sing! Vamos a la fiesta!“
