Báo Mắt Biếc (Translated as Blue-Eyed Leopard) is a masked celebrity contestant on the first Vietnamese season of The Masked Singer Vietnam.

She is first introduced to be one of the mascots from the Section B, together with O Sen, Hươu Thần, Buffalove and ChipChip Pink.

Báo Mắt Biếc is a blue-eyed snow leopard dressed up like a fancy model, as she is said to be a fashionista: A fur-patterned fascinator & royal blue cape, a black sleeveless bodysuit that is adorned with gold bodychain, high-thigh stockings with a garterbelt and black ankle boots.

Costume 2: After the Round 1, her bodysuit is turned into a black long gown and her cape is removed in order to match the atmosphere of her song. The gown makes her look more graceful and gentle, in contrast to her previous clothing style.

Costume 3: After the Round 2, her outfit has been changed. She now wears a sheer, sequined skirt over her bodysuit as well as an Ostrich feather shawl and a fascinator with yellow feathers. It's also shown that her Ostrich feather shawl is removed later after the Round 3, leaving only her sheer, sequined skirt over her bodysuit and her fascinator with yellow feathers.

In the early rounds, it can be seen that Báo Mắt Biếc is quite shy, her way of speaking is slow and gentle. She often does not actively talk but only responds when asked by the panelists. However, her way of answering was also very sarcastic and mixed with naive. She always denied all the inferences of the panelists, refused to be their acquaintances, and thought that they were too speculative.

For example, "Let me go ask the organizers about my clues and then I'll tell back to you". Or "Don't try to find clues from my outfit, I'm a simple person, whatever the costume team gives me is what I wear". Or when Trúc Nhân cheerfully said "Hello, my dear sis" with the implication that recognized her identity, she bluntly replied "I don't know you". Báo Mắt Biếc is unmasked to be Uyên Linh, a talented singer with strong and burning voice. She was the Winner of Vietnam Idol Season 3 (2010) and was a student memory of many young artists. Her victory at that competition motivated and inspired many people. Also after that achievement, her name became extremely promising, her debut album Potrait was well received, many singers would like to duet with her, and she is also implicitly recognized by many people as a little diva in the new generation of Vietnamese music.

Stopping at the Top 6 Finalist, Uyên Linh is very grateful to The Masked Singer for helping her rekindle the emotions she lost a long time ago. When interviewed about this, Mai Tiến Dũng answered: "When holding Báo Mắt Biếc hand, I thought I must be the one to go home because the rest of the mascots were all good and I was just an instinctive singer, their instincts, experience and techniques were better than mine. Therefore, when I heard the announcement that Hươu Thần was allowed to continue, I thought: Oh no, the audience will be regretful because Uyên Linh is very good. But then I thought: Okay, if the audience at the studio loves Hươu Thần so much and wants me to continue, then I should accept it. It's not okay if I raise my hand and ask: Please let me out of the show! The organizers will not allow it because it's like me denying the audience's love. It's really not good to ignore that love. Báo Mắt Biếc’s costume is desgined by the fashion designer Ngô Mạnh Đông Đông, a mascot with the name of snow leopards and the general appearance of a fancy fashionista, symbolizes the presence of fashion in The Masked Singer Vietnam.

In an interview, Uyên Linh shared about the idea and concept of the character “Báo Mắt Biếc” in the show. When asked by the organizers of the show which mascot she wanted to be, Uyên Linh imediately chose the leopard, learning how she loves snow leopards because of their fur, round ears and powerful hands and feets. But at the same time, for her, leopard is also a very cute animal.

Uyên Linh also shared about her experiences when she went to the costume design workshop and tried the costume on for the first time. All she could say was "So hot!" and the mask for her was pretty heavy. But at the same time, Uyên Linh felt happy that there's a day she can wear the costume with leopard patterns like this. As she said, the costume designer was very clever in leaving enough space so that the celebrities wouldn't move the microphone too much and their voice would still pick up the mic.

According to Ngô Mạnh Đông Đông, every mascot has their own background story. For Báo Mắt Biếc, she is a fashionista, the symbol of fashion in the show. So that’s why Báo Mắt Biếc has the right to change the most clothes and the most special ones.
