- He's the fourth contestant to sing a song in a different language other than English. He was preceded by Engel, Chamäleon, and Faultier.
- Anubis and Skelett were the third contestants to sing songs from the same artist. The first were Astronaut and Grashüpfer, and the second were Dalmatiner and Hase.
- The judges guessed Anubis to be Henning Baum, who went on to be the Quokka in Season 4.
- The judges guessed Anubis to be Jan Josef Liefers, who went on to be the Känguru in Season 8.
