¿Quién es la Máscara? (translated as Who is the Mask?) is a reality singing competition television series. The show features celebrities wearing costumes of their choice. They sing each week, trying to make it to the finale in which they win the Masked Singer trophy.
Each week, the studio audience votes for their favorite performance and the masked singer with the most votes is safe for the week, wh ile the celebrity with the least votes is nominated for elimination. The panelists decide which of the nominated celebrities will be revealed. Sometimes the roles are reversed and the panelists decide which mask to save, while the studio audience decides which one is eliminated from the nominees.
The first season was hosted by Omar Chaparro and co-hosted by Natalia Téllez, with panelists Adrián Uribe, Carlos Rivera, Consuelo Duval, and Yuri. Since season two, Adrián Uribe was replaced by Juanpa Zurita in the judging panel. In season three, the show was hosted by Adrián Uribe and co-hosted by Alan Estrada, with Mónica Huarte replacing Consuelo Duval as a panelist.
Since season four, the show has been hosted again by Omar Chaparro, and now co-hosted by Marisol González, with Carlos Rivera, Juanpa Zurita, and Yuri continuing as panelists. The fourth panelist in season four was Galilea Montijo, before Martha Higareda joined the show and took her place in season five.
